The seventh edition of the BH Catalunya Bike Race 2024, one of the most anticipated MTB competitions of this end of the season, will be held from September 27 to 29 with its epicenter in Puigcerdà

This edition promises exciting trails and impressive landscapes that cross from the Catalan Cerdanya and enter France. The second stage, in particular, will stand out for entering French territory, while the last stage, the finisher stage, will be based in the municipality of Bellver de Cerdanya, which has not hosted a stage since 2017, great news for all fans .

The competition will begin on Friday, September 27 with the Flash Stage. This stage, which will begin at 3:00 p.m., with a distance of 30.55 kilometers and 896 meters of elevation gain, will serve as a luxury warm-up for a high-voltage weekend. The cyclists will leave Puigcerdà and go up to the Guils forest. From there, you will reach the Guils-Fontanera alpine ski slope, where you will find the first refreshment station. Then, they will face an exciting descent known as the 'Tancat de les hores mortes' to return to Puigcerdà through Saneja.

On Saturday, September 28, the Škoda Super Stage will take place, a true queen stage with 51.50 kilometers and 1,833 meters of elevation gain. Starting from Puigcerdà, the runners will go up towards La Molina and continue to Coma Morera. The tour includes a spectacular descent along a path in the middle of the forest to Osséja, in France. From there, a track will take participants back to Catalonia, finishing in Villalobent before returning to Puigcerdà.

The test will culminate on Sunday, September 29 with the Finisher Stage. This stage, of 46.20 kilometers and 1,340 meters of elevation gain, will take place entirely in Bellver de Cerdanya. Cyclists will tour the Cadí-Moixeró National Park, enjoying an impressive natural landscape, with panoramic views and descents along iconic trails such as Gónac. The stage will end in Bellver de Cerdanya, thus closing this edition of the race.
