The third edition of YoPRO Catalunya Bike Race that will be held from September 26 to 29 in Puigcerdà, will have a route of 200 kilometers with 5,380 meters of climbing distributed in four centralised stages in the Club Poliesportiu of Puigcerdà and that will pass through areas already known and other new ones full of pure Mountain Biking by the Catalan Pyrenees.
The new FLASH STAGE will open the competition with a short, fast and intense stage of 31 kilometers and 1.004 meters of positive climbing, and start by waves of categories to make a first contact with the route.
The second stage will have a total of 63.4 kilometers and 1,724 meters of climbing and will run through French territory, one of the novelties of this edition. One of the attractions of this stage will be the passage through the mythical descent of the train station of La Molina, which we could already race in last edition. This second stage will stand out for its rise from the beginning with a spectacular ascent that will make the riders amazed.
BUFF® Super stage will be the most climbest stage and will be completely renovated that will have 60 kilometers and 1,762 meters of elevation. Riders will race through the Masella valley and the vicinity of the Cadí tunnel to return to Puigcerdà following the Segre riverbed, with spectacular views that will give the last push to all participants to reach the finish line.
Finisher Stage will be the final and decisive stage of this third edition of YoPro Catalunya Bike Race. It will have a total of 38.8 kilometers and 1,246 meters of accumulated gain with two very steep descents that will test the resistance of all Mountain Bikers to reach the finish line with a big smile.
YoPRO Catalunya Bike Race ensures fun, technical single tracks and Mountain Bike with designation of origin through the majestic landscapes of La Cerdanya, with a route designed and tested by the ambassador of the race José Antonio Hermida.
